About

Hey YOU!
What a pleasure to have you here. My name is Adam Jacobs. I’m from Cape Town, South Africa. I love eating apples, chasing sunsets, and riding my bike everywhere — Africa, for now.

In July 2024, I left home to begin pedaling around the African continent… and I’m still out here, somewhere along the open road. I’ve become completely immersed in the journey — so much so that I might’ve forgotten I still need to cycle home haha. But these countries have a way of pulling you in, and honestly, I don’t fight it.
This ride is something far deeper than distance. It’s a celebration of movement — of what the human body and mind are capable of when you just start. It’s about inspiring people to get out there, to challenge themselves, to explore the edges of their comfort zones and discover what lies beyond.

It’s also a quiet nod to the mental battles so many of us carry. The road has a way of bringing those things to the surface — and, if you let it, teaching you how to move through them. This journey is about facing fear, embracing discomfort, overcoming hardship, and learning to find joy in the smallest moments. It’s about realizing that even on the loneliest stretches of road, you are never truly alone.

Along the way, I share stories — of people, places, and the unexpected magic that unfolds when you choose to keep moving forward.

“We Africans
We, the scatterlings of the rising sun
We, all proud Africans, every one
Celebrate with us
For our future fate is far from done
And we are all Africans, every one” — Wayne Visser

Every message, every share, every bit of support keeps the wheels turning and the story alive. And if something here resonates with you and you’d like to collaborate, my inbox is always open.

Luca Bicarri
Luca is a budding videographer, photographer and story teller. He is a creative at heart with a meticulous attention to detail. He is in charge of being the magician in Cape Town doing all things content related - likely dressed in an outfit that a safari guide would wear. He is an integral part of the project, having been my right hand man for nearly a year. Big Shakas for this guy!
